Solutions Consultants – Melbourne & Newcastle

This is a business acquisition role which is centralised around acquiring new customers to the Optus Network, leveraging our vast range of products and services including mobile, fixed telephony, phone systems, business internet services and cloud based solutions.

Success in this role is achieved with high levels of activity, strong selling skills and a disciplined approach to CRM.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A strong desire to achieve success in the rewarding telecommunications and IT services environment.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in in a face to face sales environment.

Appointment Setters – All Offices

We are currently decentralising our appointment setting team and as a result have opportunities for new staff across all our business centres.  We want our appointment setters to work closely with our sales teams to identify prospects and generate sales appointments over the phone.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Business to business cold & warm calling.
  • Setting appointments with decision makers.
  • Achieve daily and weekly key performance indicators.
  • Disciplined use of company CRM.

About You:

  • Previous experience in B2B lead generation or appointment setting is essential.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and a desire to achieve set targets.

Sales Support – Hawthorn Office

Our Optus Business Centre in Hawthorn is looking for a professional and enthusiastic person to perform a sales support role. Previous experience working with Optus systems or in Optus retail will be an advantage and the successful candidate will possess the following personal skills and attributes:

•    Excellent time management skills.
•    The ability to multi task.
•    An eye for detail.
•    Great problem-solving skills.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•    Strong computer literacy.

Sales support perform mainly administrative type functions and work closely with the sales team as well as directly supporting the Sales Manager.  Working hours are generally 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
